Everett Leon Baker, age 83, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at his residence in Liberal, KS. He was born March 23, 1933 in Floris, OK, the son of Benjamin Clayton and Eloise (Dunlap) Baker. He graduated from Liberal High School in 1951. He married Thelda Dean Scott on October 9, 1952 at Perryton, TX. She survives. He attended the First Church of God in Liberal, KS. He owned and operated Baker Concrete Construction Company for over 40 years. He also owned and operated a Tool & Saw Sharpening Service for the last 13 years. Survivors include 1 Son Benjamin Baker Liberal, KS 2 Daughters Vicky Crosby and husband Dewayne Liberal, KS Rhonda Montez and husband Dwayne Liberty, MO 1 Sister Betty Oglesby and husband Jack Liberal, KS 3 Grandchildren Rusty Baker, Chad Montez and Chelsey Montez 2 Great Grandchildren Gianna and Emilia Montez. He was preceded in death by his Parents, 2 Sisters Doris Adams and Evelyn Miller.
