Fernando Blanco

Fernando Blanco, age 61, died on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.
He was Born in Gran Morelos, Chihuahua, Mexico on June 30, 1955 to Guillermo and Elisa (Hernandez) Blanco.
Fernando Married Alicia Ochoa June 16, 1976 in Gran Morelos, Chihuahua, Mexico.

After working in ranching in Nevada he came to Liberal and worked for National Beef Packing Company as a grounds keeper, maintaining the beautiful Landscape in the front entrance of the plant.

He was a member of Saint Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

He was a gardener and raised beautiful roses in his yard.

8 grandchildren: Erika Blanco, Joanna Blanco, Leslie Rodriguez, Alexia Rodriguez, Luis Chavez, Adrian Chavez, Damian Rodriguez, David Blanco, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Arturo Blanco.

The Rosary will be Friday, June 2nd at 7:00 pm, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church Father James P. Dieker presiding.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, June 3rd at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father George Fajardo presiding. Burial will be at the Liberal Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm, Thursday, June 1st, and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at the Brenneman Funeral Home, 1212 West 2nd, Liberal. Family will be present to greet friends Thursday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm
