Joyce Lou Hassell, age 73, died April 5, 2018 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, KS. She was born August 8, 1944 in Perryton, TX, the daughter of Fritz F. and Esther C. (Prewett) Lehman. She was a graduate of Balko High School in Balko, OK. She retired from Mosaic in Liberal as a Transportation Coordinator. Survivors include 1 Son Allan Hassell Denton, TX 1 Brother Fred Lehman and wife Paula Overland Park, KS 1 Grandson Paul Dillon Lehman and numerous Nephews and Nieces. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 1 Brother Alvin Lehman, 2 Sisters Floris Weaver and Phyllis Minter. Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 20, 20018 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Erin Rush, Emmanuel Southern Baptist Church of Liberal, presiding. A private family inurnment will be held, at a later date, in the Hartville Cemetery in Hardesty, OK. Joyce’s Guest Book will be available to sign from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Thursday, April 19th and from 9:00 AM until service time on Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Special Olympics Kansas / West Region or charity of the donor’s choice to assist special needs children care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
