Agnes “Nancy” Y. E. Cole, 84, died Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center, Liberal, KS.Agnes Young Elizabeth Thompson was born on June 20, 1926 at West Calder, Midlothian, Scotland, the daughter of Rev. Charles and Janet (Anderson) Thompson.She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.She was formerly a Licensed Practical Nurse working in Texas. After moving to Liberal, she worked for National Beef Packing Co. for 22 years and also held a second job at Natures Cupboard. She is survived by herDaughter – Laura E. House and husband Darin of Tyrone, OK3 Grandchildren- Joshua House of Tyrone, OK Lynell Barnes of Yukon, OK David Cole of Nacogdoches, TX3 Great-Grandsons – Kevin, Zachary and ColeDearest Friend – Maxine Munsell of Liberal, KSShe was preceded in death by a Son- Russell Cole in 1995, 5 Brothers and 4 SistersFuneral service will be held at 1:30 pm Saturday, January 22, 2011 at Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Prater presiding. Burial will follow at Midway Cemetery in Floris, OK.Visitation will be 9 am – 8 pm Friday with the family present to receive friends from 6:30-7:30 pm at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
