Anna Belle Skinner, age 91, died January 15, 2017 at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Hugoton, KS. She was born March 11, 1925 in Belle Plaine, KS, the daughter of James Albert and Mary Beatrice (Hunt) Nugen.
She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1943. She was a homemaker and farm wife.
On April 6, 1947 she married Arthur Kay Skinner in Belle Plaine, KS. He died October 4, 1995.

1 Step-Sister Mardele Hisken Hesston, KS
8 Grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 Brothers Dean, Charles, Harold, Albert, Jr., Ray and Roy Nugen, 1 Sister Ada Hervey and Step-Mother Evie Nugen.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Bethel Friends Church in Hugoton, KS with Pastor Roy Bogan presiding. Burial will be in the Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.
Visitation will be 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bethel Friends Church with the family present from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm to greet friends.
