Barbara E. (Towns) Cox 83, died Monday, January 23, 2012 at Christian Health & Rehab in Lebanon, MO.She was born March 3, 1928 in Morrisville, MO the daughter of William and Helen (Painter) Ryan.She had worked as a waitress for many years.She loved to watch the Atlanta Braves Baseball team and did not want to be disturbed while watching. In 1980, she married Klebe A. Cox in Rogers, Arkansas. He died in Aug. 1994.Survivors include1 Son David T. Towns of Liberal, KS; 7 Step-sons; 2 Daughters Sherry Lynn Olney of Pelion, S.C., Carla D. Lanford of Mountain Rest, S.C.; 3 Step-Daughters6 Brothers and 7 Sisters7 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildrenPreceeded in death by Parents, 1 Daughter Gwenth Rippy, 1 Granddaughter, 3 Brothers and 1 Sister.Graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Friday at Liberal, Cemetery with Pastor Arlen Ankle presiding.There will be no public visitation.
