Francisco “El Roka” Javier Sevilla Guzman, age 40, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend died on Thursday, October 09, 2025, in Englewood, Colorado.
Francisco was born on September 12, 1985, in Cocula, Jalisco, Mexico, to Miguel Angel Sevilla and Maria de la Luz Guzman Lepe. He graduated from Liberal High School and continued his education at SCCC Technical School where he studied Paint and Auto Body. He went on to work at Halliburton before becoming a livestock driver for National Carriers, Inc. until his passing. He loved going fishing, or spending time with friends riding his RZR. Francisco was a big fan of sports cars, motorcycles, fishing, and the San Francisco 49ers. This love for the 49ers, he passed on to his nephew Oliver in a house full of Chiefs Fans. He loved to spoil his nephews, which he loved to take with him on outings. He was a devoted uncle to his nieces as well. He was a beloved friend to many for his kind, goofy and loyal nature. He was always willing to help those who needed help. Francisco lived his life to the fullest, one day at a time and made sure to enjoy it. His motto was “Easy Does It”, to him it meant live life to the fullest, as you only live once.
Francisco is survived by his parents, Miguel Angel Sevilla and Maria de la Luz Guzman Lepe of Liberal, Kansas,
Sister, Fatima Ortega of Liberal, Kansas,
Nephews, Juan Miguel Sevilla, Jr., and
Oliver Ortega
Nieces, Odette Ortega, Olivia Ortega, Jimena Sevilla, Iliana Molina.
He is preceded in death by his older brother, Juan Miguel Sevilla “Pancho Villa”.
Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM, Monday, October 20, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.
Funeral Mass will 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Reverend Charles Seiwert will be celebrating.
A burial will follow at the Liberal Cemetery.
