German Lastor-Morales

German “Germs” Eduardo Lastor-Morales, age 11, died Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Children’s Hospital in Aurora, Colorado.

He was born on May 21, 2011, in Liberal, Kansas, to Tomas Pacajoj Lastor and Candelaria Morales Sente.

German was in the 6^th grade at Seymour Rogers Middle School. He played the drums in the school band which he loved very much. He changed our lives forever and with us, he will always be. Although German was with us for only a moment in our arms, in our hearts his memory will stay.

He is survived by

His father, Tomas Pacajoj Lastor , mother, Candelaria Morales Sente of Liberal, siblings, Baudelia Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Luis Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Alex Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Victor Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Marlin Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Susana Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Damian Lastor- Morales of Liberal, Norma Lastor (Fransisco) of Guatemala, and Santiago Lastor (Maria) of Liberal.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Sebastian Pacajoj.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2^nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Services will be at 1pm, Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the all Nations Church, 601 E. 15^th Street, with Pastor Andres Castro Presiding.

A graveside service, where all are welcome to attend, will be at 1pm, Wednesday, May 31, at the Liberal Cemetery on West 15^th Street.

Memorial contributions for the family’s final expenses may be made to the care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

 2023 en el Children’s Hospital de Aurora, Colorado.

Nació el 21 de Mayo del 2011 en Liberal, Kansas, hijo de Tomas Pacajoj Lastor y Candelaria Morales Sente.

German estaba en sexto grado en la escuela secundaria Seymour Rogers. Tocaba la batería en la banda de la escuela que amaba mucho. Cambió nuestras vidas para siempre y con nosotros siempre estará. Aunque Germán estuvo solo un momento con nosotros en nuestros brazos, en nuestros corazones permanecerá su recuerdo.

Le precedieron en la muerte su abuelo, Sebastián Pacajoj.

El velorio será de 9:00 a. m. a 8:00 p. m. el martes 30 de mayo de 2023 en Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Los servicios funerarios serán a la 1:00 p. m., domingo 28 de mayo de 2023, en la Iglesia de todas las Naciones, 601 E. 15th Street, bajo la presidencia del pastor Andrés Castro

Un servicio junto a la tumba, donde todos pueden asistir, será a la 1:00 p. m., el miércoles 31 de mayo, en el Cementerio Liberal en West 15th Street.
