Gussie Mae King 73, died, Monday, June 23, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center. She was born January 11, 1941 in Winchester, Arkansas the daughter of Charlie and Gussie (Price) Jenkins. She had been a resident of Liberal since 1987. She was a member of the Apostolic Life Tabernacle. She was employed at Wal-mart in Electronics Dept. for many years. Survivors include. 6 Sons Jackie Ray Stocks and wife Martha Liberal, KS Eugene King Jr. Omaha, NE Large “Pat” King and wife Stacy Omaha, NE Alvin L. King and wife Teresa Little Rock, AR Timothy Lee King and wife Pearlie Wichita, KS Tracy L. King Oklahoma City, OK 4 Daughters Annette Young and husband Jerry Wayne Liberal, KS Christine Sonday and husband Roy Dodge City, KS Mary Ann Caffey and husband Jimmie T. Liberal, KS Nancy Ann King Little Rock, AR 1 Sisters Emma Jean Jenkins Chicago, Ill 34 Grandchildren Megan Young, Jackie Ray Stocks, Shonda Stocks, Christine Stocks, Carl Everett Dean Jr., Denita Latasha Dean, Theatry Dean, Keitha Laureese Snowden, Lee Elbert Miles, Ethen Sonday, Dylan Sonday, Kquintero King, Lazarious King, Martavious King, Keveon Eugene King, La’raejnae Marie Gussie King, Cason Kyle Caffey, La’Kevis Caffey, Nastashia Caffey, Large King Jr., Brittany King, Tyson King, Rachel King, Nicholas King, Rhyniqua King, Shanasa King, Shad Dowd, Christopher King, Zukiya King, Hanna King, Tracy King Jr., Tiana King, Cameron King 34 Great Grand Grandchildren She was preceded in by her Parents, Husband Eugene King Sr., Brothers Elijah, Levi, and Robert Jenkins and Sisters Betty Jean and May Ann Jenkins. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday at the Apostolic Life Tabernacle with Pastor Audie McCuistion presiding. Burial will be held in Liberal Cemetery Visitation time will be 9am to 8 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the Gussie King Memorial Fund in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
