Isidro Murillo Lopez

Isidro Murillo Lopez, age 23, died Friday, September 1, 2023, at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on May 14, 2000, the son of Jesus Murillo Guzman and Josefina Lopez Guzman in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico.

Isidro was united in marriage to Frania Ascencio on January 28, 2023, in Liberal, Kansas. He worked at the Red Barn Truck Wash. Isidro’s favorite activity was watching TV, his favorite movie being “The Fast and the Furious.”  He enjoyed spending time with his family, going to his mother-in-law’s home, talking to his mother on the phone, taking walks, and listening to music. Isidro will be truly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Frania, parents Jesus and Josefina Murillo, sisters, Juanita Lopez Guzman, Fatima Murillo Lopez, Sandra Murillo Lopez, Maria Isabelle Murillo Lopez, Beatriz Murillo Lopez, Lourdes Murillo Lopez, Guadalupe Murillo Lopez, Cecilia Murillo Lopez and Rosario Murillo Lopez, and one nephew, Leonardo Isaias Guzman Lopez.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on Thursday, September 7, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2^nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary will follow at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Friday, September 8, 2023, at at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

A burial will take place in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico.
