Janet Katherine Lewis, 58, died Friday, Oct. 21, 2016 at her home in Goddard, KS.   She was born on January 31, 1958 in Hardtner, KS, to Victor and Monica (Landwehr) Ricke.   She lived in Sharon, KS, Attica, KS, Canadian, TX, Hugoton, KS, Liberal, KS, Corpus Christi, TX, Midland TX, and Goodard, KS. 
Janet previously worked for Anadarko Petroleum, and Seward County as the director of the County Events Center.  She was currently retired. 
Janet was a member of the Liberal Chamber of Commerce, Liberal Ambassadors, Liberal Diversity Council, and the Liberal Convention and Tourism Bureau.  
On April 6, 1994 Janet married Richard Lewis in Hugoton, KS.  He survives.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 29, at the First Christian Church in Hugoton, with Pastor Don Williams presiding, to conclude. 
Visitation time will be from 1pm to 8pm Thursday the 27, and from 9am to 8 pm Friday, the 28.   Family will be present to greet friends from 2 to 5 on Friday.
