Jimmie Ray Fuller

Jimmie Ray Fuller, 78, died Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas. He was born March, 3 1938 in Los Angeles, California to Arthur and Gladys L. Fuller. He was employed as a painter and plasterer for many years with Tradewind Industries in Liberal. Jimmie also served in the National Guard for 11 years as a cook. He enjoyed working on old cars and his favorite car was a 1928 model “A” Ford. Jimmie lived at Good Samaritan center for the last ten years, and his main activity there was watching T.V.Jimmie always loved visiting his friends, traveling, playing board games and fishing. Jimmy was One of Jehovah’s Witnesses and liked to discuss the Scriptures with others. He loved sharing his hope that soon God’s Kingdom, with Jesus as ruler, will do away with our enemy death forever. Jimmie believed in the resurrection and his hope was to live again on earth in that promised paradise. Until that time, Jimmie will certainly be missed. Survivors include:1 Brother Gary Fuller and his wife Maggie, of Garden City, KS1Nephew Terry Ware and wife Mersa4 Nieces Melody Freie and husband John Jeanie Determan and husband Don Suzette Grimes Betsy Jayne FormanMany other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Donna Jean Maxwell.Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, June 3rd, at Brenneman Funeral Home with David Vartian presiding. Private inurnment to follow. Visitation will be Thursday, June 2nd from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Brenneman Funeral Home.
