Joyce Barlow

After an amazing and full life, Joyce Barlow age 83, died Friday, November 3, 2023, at her residence in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on May 26, 1940, the daughter of Hiram and Myrtle (Cox) Brown in Maywood, Nebraska.

Joyce enjoyed playing bingo and the lottery and she loved her grandchildren dearly. Joyce especially enjoyed Thanksgiving and Christmas and returning home to her Nebraska roots for visits. After her daughter JoLynne’s death in 2007, Joyce was honored to care for her granddaughter. She will always be remembered and truly missed by all the lives she touched.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Barlow of Liberal, Kansas,

Two sisters, Virginia Campbell and husband, Melvin of Stratton, Nebraska, Mary Schultz and husband, Everett of North Platte, Nebraska, three grandchildren, Zachary Jackson, Nicholas Jackson, and Kirsten Aranda.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Glenn R. Barlow, parents, Hiram and Myrtle Brown, daughter, JoLynne Barlow, numerous brothers and sisters.

No Funeral Services will be held as burial has taken place.
