Laura Patricia (“Pati”) Martinez Chavez, 36, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, TX. She was born March 24, 1977 at Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico. The daughter of Arturo and Manuela (Chavez) Martinez. She had lived in Liberal since 1997.She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church of Liberal.Survivors include: Her parents of Liberal, KS 2 – Brothers Luis Arturo Martinez of Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico Manuel Adrian Martinez of Liberal, KSPaternal Grandmother: Maria DeLaLuz Anchondo of Rosales, Chihuahua, Mexico Maternal Grandparents: Miguel Angel Chavez and Jesus Delgado of Dodge City 1 – nephew Osiris Martinez of Liberal, KS 1 – Niece Brittany Martinez of Rosales, Chihuahua, MexicoNumerous Aunts and UnclesShe was preceeded in death by her grandfather Julian Martinez TarangoRosary: will be held at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, at St. Anthony Catholic Church.Funeral Mass: will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 29, at the church with Father James Dieker officiating. Burial will be at Liberal Cemetery.Visitation: Will be from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
