Leola Ruth Seabolt

Leola Ruth (Coffey) Seabolt age 83, died peacefully Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Meade, Kansas.

She was born on November 05, 1941, to Harold and Alene (McKinnis) Coffey in Liberal, Kansas.

After graduating from Liberal High School, Leola dedicated herself to raising her family,

Later in life, Leola began her professional journey, as payroll clerk for US West and Monfort, and also working as a clerk at Day’s Inn in Liberal.

Leola was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Through this connection, she forged lasting friendships creating a network of support.

She will be profoundly missed by her family and friends who were fortunate enough to know her, yet her legacy will forever linger in the lives she touched.

She is survived by her son, Charles W. Seabolt of Ulysses, Kansas, and

daughter, Brenda Rice, alongside her husband Rick, residing in Kismet, Kansas, and

six grandchildren, Boomer Seabolt,

Ashton Handy,

Alyssa Giles,

Amber Mata,

Tiffiny Rice, and

Melissa Taylor.

Leola is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Alene Coffey,

Daughter-in-law, Jodi Seabolt, and

Grandson, Austin Seabolt.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, September 5, 2025, at the Kismet Cemetery. Family member, Neil Coffey,

will be officiating.
