Mable Coleen "Mae" Smith Harviston

Mable Coleen Smith Harviston “Mae” was born in Liberal, Kansas to Gilbert and Pearl (Waybright) Smith and went home July 14, 2024, in North Las Vegas. She wished to express her thanks for the years of love and laughter and for being part of her life. To those family and friends that preceded her to those she left behind; her Beloveds: husband of 66 years, Jerry; children; Tony, Scott and Leah (Shaun) Robison, Grandbabies; Julia, Nicholas, Kelly, Perl, Staci Chase (Troy) and Gypsy. Great grands; Mikkayla, Hunter and Ryan Robison.

Brothers Orvil (Phyllis), Leonard (Evelyn), Clovis; and sister Treva Hicks (Larry), Brother and sister-in-law, Bill, Bob (Sylvia) and JoAnn and their extended families and to God and her Country. Her life was enriched by the United States Army when she accompanied Jerry to 10 states from Massachusetts to Hawaii and 2 tours in Europe. Her experiences with travel, education, work and friendships that she acquired along the way, we’re stitched into a crazy quilt that she loved and would not miss for anything. Her favorite past times were reading, crossword puzzles, game shows, hot slots, genealogy and laughter. Mae’s only request is that you live and take care of each other until she sees all of you again. No services, but if you wish to make her smile again at a private joke, find a place where no trees grow and plant one in her name. You could call it “Mae’s Family Tree”. Bless you all and thank you for everything. You made it all worth the trip.
