Turpin, OKMargaret Ogletree, 85, died Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at Beaver County Hospital, Beaver, OK. She was born January 16, 1929 at Liberal, KS, the daughter of Earl W. and Cora Lucille (Martz) Scott.She married Leon Elberta Ogletree, on August 9, 1946 at Garden City, Kansas. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2009.She attended Liberal High School, and worked as a machinist for Beech Aircraft. Her hobbies included quilting, embroidery and jigsaw puzzles. She loved to travel and spend time with family.She was a member of the Beech Aircraft Employees Club, Turpin Senior Center, and the Turpin United Methodist Church.Survivors: 3 Sons Loren Gene Ogletree, Ada, OK; David Ray Ogletree, Wichita, KS; Randy Lynn Ogletree & wife Donna, Bixby, OK; 1 Daughter Sherri Riffe & husband Gary, Turpin, OK; 2 Brothers Earl W. Scott II, Colorado Springs, CO; Charles Marion Scott & wife June, Hemet, CA; 5 Sisters Martha Charlene Rokeh & husband Dennis, Russell, MN; Ruth Maxine Trimmell, Garden City, KS; Nancy Marie Manley, Peyton, CO; Marilyn Kay Anderson, Colorado Springs, CO; Mary Louise Manley & husband Bob, Ellicott, CO. 6 Grandchildren: Stacey (Riffe) Hensley & husband Shawn, Stephanie (Riffe) Porter & husband Matt, Sarah (Riffe) Roberts & husband Chris, Randa Ogletree, Brian Ogletree & wife Brandy and Jessica Lauralyn Ogletree. 8 Great Grandchildren: Jacob, Abigail & Hannah Porter, Caden & Rhett Hensley, Cale, Chloe & Case Roberts. 1 Step Great Grandchild: Jayleigh Ray Snow.She was preceded in death by her parents, Son: Marvin Otto Ogletree, Daughter: Elberta Ann Ogletree, Daughter-in-law: Karen Ogletree, 2 Brothers: Gerry Henry Scott and John Ray Scott, 1 Sister: Minnie May BruneFuneral Service: 10:30 am Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Turpin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Todd Bergman presiding. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery, Turpin, OK.Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Thursday and 9 am – 8 pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home. The family will be present to greet friends from 7 – 8 pm Friday at the funeral home.Memorial Contributions: Turpin United Methodist Church or Turpin Senior Center in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
