Mary Jane Holterman

Mary Jane Holterman, 61, died Jan. 2, 2011 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, KS. She was born Sept. 5, 1949 in Russell to Jay W. and Florence E. (Whitman) McCurry. She graduated from Liberal High School in 1968. A longtime resident of Liberal, she was a receptionist at Citizens State Bank. Mary enjoyed reading and online poker. She was on the Board of Directors for the Great Plains Angel for Animals when it first started.Survivors include:Son: Todd Vanley and wife Jennifer LiberalTwo Daughters: Tera Piper and husband Jeffrey Liberal Tiffany Brady and husband Michael Liberal Two sisters: Jackie Zimmerman Longmont, CO Connie Slemp and husband Larry Hugoton10 grandchildren: Stephanie, John and Jesse Piper, Heather and Kimberly Vanley, Casey and Courtney Widener, Austin, Jacob and Cheyenne Brady.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gary McCurry.Memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 7, 2011 at Brenneman Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Odle presiding. Cremation has taken place and Inurnment will be in Restlawn Cemetery, following services.
