Paul Henry Hood, 90, died Sunday, August 20, 2017, at his residence in Liberty, MO.
He was born on February 3, 1927 in Tyrone, OK, the son of Henry and Margaret (Meyers) Hood. He graduated from Baker High School in 1945, and attended Panhandle AM and then Oklahoma AM. He started his own business, Liberal Safety Lane. Paul was a member of the Liberal First Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Men’s Fellowship, Kiwanis and Cars Southwest.
He married Leah Kerns on July 23, 1950 in Booker, TX. She survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret and her husband Bill Brantley.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Saturday, August 26, at the First Christian Church Disciples of Christ in Liberal, with Pastor Terry Ford presiding. Burial will follow in the Tyrone Cemetery.
Visitation will from 4pm to 8pm Friday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
