Thelma J. "Jo" Daugherty

Thelma J. “Jo” Daugherty, age 73, died Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2011 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, KS. She was born on March 29, 1938 in Cordell, OK, the daughter of Lloyd and Hattie (Hibbons) Hickman.She attended school in Cordell, OK. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Liberal Chapter #104.She was self employed and owned her own business. She enjoyed spending time with her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, gardening and her flowers.On Jan. 16, 1959 she married Charles Eugene Daugherty in Blackwell, OK. He survives.Other survivors include4 Sons Billy Daugherty and wife Cheryl, Liberal, KS.; Joey Daugherty, Ft. Scott, KS.;Rocky Daugherty, Liberal, KS.;Charles Daugherty, Jr., Liberal, KS. 2 Daughters Tina Daugherty, Chanute, KS.; Deanna Daugherty, Hooker, OK. 2 Brothers Edward Dewayne Hickman and wife Buella, Kaw City, OK.; Robert Rush and wife Brenda, Kismet, KS.2 Sisters Patty Reynolds and husband Buck, Kaw City, OK.;Robbie Arsenault and husband Rick, Jacksonville, FL. 14 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.There will be no services.
