Wendy Jo Raynor

Wendy Jo Raynor, age 67, died on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, in Liberal, Kansas.

She was born on June 10, 1959, in Soul, Korea and adopted by Larry and Eve (Bouere) Thompsen.

Wendy graduated from high school, completed two years of college, and devoted her work as a CNA for Home Health to caring for others. She was dearly loved by her family, friends, and clients, and her kindness will be lovingly remembered.

She is survived by her son, Lee Raynor of Liberal, Kansas,

daughter, Jayleene Kopper and her husband, Michael of Liberal, Kansas,

brother, Tim Thomsen of San Jose, California,

sister, Lisa Martinez, MD of Los Angeles, California,

two grandchildren, Samantha Kopper and

Annastasia Chaffin,

Three nephews, one niece

And close friend, Louise Aguilar.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Eve Thompsen, and

Granddaughter, Brooklynn.

In accordance with Wendy’s wishes, cremation will take place.
