Yolanda Gomez

Yolanda Gomez, 56, passed away Friday, January 26, 2024 at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

She was born on March 3, 1967 in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, the daughter of Arturo and Consuelo (Enriquez) Marta.  

On October 20, 1995 She married Oscar Gomez in Liberal, Kansas.  He survives.

Yolanda is survived by her husband, Oscar, of Liberal, Kansas.

Her Mother, Consuelo Marta of Mexico.

2 Daughters; Rosy Gomez and her husband Steven Richardson, of Liberal, Kansas

Diana Gomez and her husband Manuel Torres, of Liberal, Kansas

3 brothers; Rogelio Marta and his wife Claudia, of Mexico

Arturo Marta and his wife Lucy, of Mexico

Alfredo Marta and his wife Dora, of Mexico

3 Sisters; Leticia Marta and her husband Enrique Ramirez, of Mexico

Irene Marta and her husband, Basilio Marrufo, of Mexico

Margarita Marta and her husband, Fabian Loya, of Mexico

10 Grandchildren; Alexa, Adrian, Luka, Alonso, Damian, Thomas, James, Serenity, Oscar, and Yareli.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arturo Marta and Brother Luis Marta.

Visitation will be, on Tuesday, January 30, 2024 from 9am to 5pm, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home.  

Rosary will follow at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 7pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am, Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun Ave, Liberal, Kansas, with Rev. Charles Seiwert celebrating.  

Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
